The Marguerite Centre, a registered charity, operates under a volunteer Board of Directors of The Society for Women Healing from Addictions and Abuse. There are many ways you can support our services and programs.

  • Donate Money

    Funding comes from a variety of sources, including government and private grants, fundraising events, and donations. Scroll down for several options.

  • Donate Things

    Grocery gift cards are always welcome! New or gently used: pots, pans, dishes, women's clothing, footwear, kitchen utensils, tools, small appliances, decorative items. New: pillows, sheets (twin, queen), feminine hygiene products, towels and facecloths. Large furniture: please call 902.444.3190 to check on current needs.

  • Donate Time

    There are many ways to get involved. Here are some specific ways you could help: transport residents during the day to and from appointments, and in the evening to and from meetings, grounds keeping and handyman jobs. Please complete the Volunteer Application form and submit it to the attention of the House and Property Coordinator.

Donate Money

Our funding is provided by a combination of government and private grants, fundraising events, and donations. A registered non-profit organization, our Charitable Registration # is 892072 315 RR0001. Your monetary donation will help support our programs and services.

We provide tax receipts for all donations upon request.
